Trixie & Binx

New arrivals to our Cat Cabins are best friends, Trixie & Binx. Trixie (female, tabby, 2 years) and Binx (male, black, 1 year) have come into HFC care because their owner who suffers with asthma was advised by her Doctor to re-home her pets who were triggers for her condition.

Both Trixie and Binx are settling into the Cabins on the Surrey/Hampshire border, with Binx already very accepting of a fuss and sometimes choosing to sleep under, rather than in, his bed!

Both Trixie and Binx were cuddly and affectionate with their owner. They loved to play and perform zoomies together at least once a day. Whilst they don’t snuggle up together to sleep, if one of them is sleeping, the other will wake their friend up to ask them to play!

Binx gave his owner kisses and would purr whenever he received affection. He loves human biscuits and would persuade his owner to share hers with him. Trixie likes to lie on her back and assume awkward, but very cute, positions. She likes to groom Binx but he rarely returns the compliment! Trixie likes to wash her front paws in her water bowl, so for maximum feline hydration and a dry carpet, we recommend providing the cats with a water fountain!

Trixie and Binx are nervous both when there are visitors to their home and around children, and they would prefer to live in an adult home. However, they have experience with, and potential to live alongside, a small gentle dog. They would love their forever home to have a safe garden.

Both Trixie and Binx have previously been neutered and microchipped, and we have arranged for them to receive a re-start of their vaccinations.
