A little bit more
Following an ongoing improvement in her test results, we were able to move Tilly to a foster home in New Malden last week where she is already settling in nicely. We are now able to look forward to finding the perfect forever home for her.
Tabby & white Tilly is a very bright and gentle cat, estimated to be around 8 years’ old. We understand that she had been living stray for some time before coming into HFC care. She is quickly adapting to home life, quietly chatting with her Carers, accepting a fuss and just starting to play with a toy mouse (but only when she thinks no-one is looking!). Tilly is gaining confidence and has potential to become a lap cat in the future. She would prefer to live in a quiet, adult home where she has access to a safe garden and can enjoy being an only pet.
Tilly receives medication for early Diabetes served daily in her evening meal. To help ease the arthritis in her back legs, she wears a Bioflow collar and receives joint supplements in her food. Tilly eats well and is receiving her medication consistently. As you can see from her latest photos and video, she is already feeling much better! To help secure the loving home that Tilly is so overdue to receive, HFC is willing to supply and provide financial support for her medication if needed.
Tilly’s care has been carefully handed over to a local Vet and we hope that if her health continues to stabilise that visits to her Adopter’s Vet can reduce to quarterly so that her blood can be checked and her medication levels adjusted if necessary.
If you would like to offer our gorgeous Tilly a quiet, adult home and you feel confident that your lifestyle will enable you to consistently provide her medication, please take a look at the checklist in her media where you can see the type of home she is looking for. Thank you.
